New survey says more OEMs plan to cut number of EMS they use

I have also heard this thing that more OEMs plan to cut number of EMS they use.Whether this piece of news is entirely true or not , is still a mystery. I would like to confirm before i believe in it.

Hi Willie,

IHS didn't disclose the specific companies that responded, or the number per end-market (industrial, consumer, military, etc.), so it's a little difficult to make any broad generalizations.  I know Apple and others have publicly discussed trimming the number of suppliers they use, but the IHS survey is the most recent piece of data I've seen. Everything else I've seen is anecdotal.
